What was that saying ampm convenience stores used to have in their ads? “Too much good stuff.” Well, that’s early June in San Diego. Art Around Adams, the hyper-local celebration of small businesses, local artists and indie performers that happens along two miles of Adams Avenue from University Heights to Kensington.
Free music, and more than 90 impromptu art galleries will fill Adams Avenue on Saturday, June 4 from noon until 8:00 p.m. Art Around Adams is not only free and open to all ages, but is a great opportunity to fight gentrification by visiting an actual neighborhood and partaking of the food, beverages, people, art and music. The event is presented by The InSlider SD. Did I mention free?
Enjoy Adams Avenue in a friendly, relaxed and carefree environment where taste-makers and free thinkers mix freely with family and friends. Experience exhibits and performances that will dazzle the eye and stir the senses. Each year the event infuse new and exciting artists and talents that reflect this year’s local trends in art and business. Stroll the entire route, or take the complimentary “Comedy Trolley.” It’s FREE FUN for young and old.
Art Around Adams Returns
Adams Avenue will have its full creativity on display at this music, food and art festival. The free, family-friendly event will showcase local art and street performances along a 2-mile stretch of Adams Avenue.
Adams Avenue, considered one of the city’s more artistic areas, celebrates creativity with Art Around Adams, a 2-mile festival between Kensington and Normal Heights.
